Incentives Policy (Politika pobídek)

OVB Allfinanz, a.s. is required by Czech law to maintain a transparent incentives and conflicts of interest policy. This section summarises the types of remuneration received by OVB in connection with the distribution of financial products. The full Czech-language version is available at the link below.

What Is an Incentive?

An incentive (pobídka) is any monetary or non-monetary benefit received in connection with the distribution of financial products that could potentially create a conflict of interest with the obligation to act in the best interest of the client. OVB does not accept or provide any inadmissible incentives, and its remuneration policies are structured so as not to motivate advisors to recommend unsuitable products.

How Advisors Are Remunerated

Advisors operating through OVB are remunerated through commissions paid by product providers, not by clients. The structure varies by product area:

Investments: OVB receives a share of the entry fee (83–100%) and a recurring share of the management fee (5–55%). Specific figures are disclosed in pre-contractual documents.

Insurance: OVB receives a one-time or recurring payment from the insurer. For reserve-building insurance products, commission costs are disclosed in the summary information document.

Consumer credit: OVB receives a one-time payment from the lender, capped at 6% of the total loan amount. No fees are charged to clients. Full disclosure is provided in standardised pre-contractual information.

Supplementary pension savings (DPS): OVB receives a one-time fee from the pension company (max. 7% of the average national wage) plus ongoing servicing commissions that vary by pension company and client account balance.

Permissibility

All incentives accepted by OVB must comply with applicable legislation, must not conflict with the duty to act with professional care and in the client's best interest, and — in the case of investment services — must contribute to improving the quality of the service provided.
